About the role
National Sales Manager leading a team of 4 Business Development Managers across Australia. You will personally manage key national accounts, open new high-value customer relationships, and develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned to 10% year-on-year growth targets. This role reports to the General Manager and is based at the Sunshine West head office with national travel required.

Key responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage a team of 4 Business Development Managers across Australia
Personally manage key national accounts and open new high-value customer relationships
Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned to 10% year-on-year growth targets
Implement disciplined sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management processes
Review and adjust customer pricing, manage commercial negotiations, and protect gross margin
Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, support, and structured development
Work closely with internal teams (customer service, procurement, warehouse) to ensure a seamless customer experience
Travel interstate to support sales activity and customer engagement as required
Attend trade shows and conferences as required About you




Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales leadership — FMCG, packaging, or industrial products preferred
Demonstrated success in both recent business development and account growth
Strong financial and commercial skills — able to manage margin, pricing, and deal structures
Experience leading remote or distributed sales teams
Practical understanding of sales systems and reporting (NetSuite or similar CRM experience a plus)
Confident, hands-on leader with solid interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to travel and be actively present in key markets to support national sales performance
