About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Indian cuisine chef or cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare authentic dishes, maintain high food quality, and keep our kitchen clean, organized, and secure. Responsibilities Prepare and cook Indian dishes to recipe and quality standards Handle daily prep, including chopping, marinating, and preparing masalas, gravies, and sauces Follow FIFO (first in, first out) for all ingredients and stock rotation Follow the HACCP plan and all food safety and hygiene regulations Keep the kitchen, equipment, and workstations clean and well maintained Label, store,



and date food properly Monitor stock levels and help with ordering Work well with the kitchen team during busy service Requirements Previous experience as a chef or cook in an Indian kitchen Valuable knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and flavors Robust knife skills and prep experience Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen rules and regulations Understanding of FIFO and proper storage practices Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace Reliable, punctual, and a good team player Nice to Have Food handler certification Training Don't know a particular cuisine or dish yet?
