Italia Lane is an award-winning Italian restaurant located in the heart of Fortitude Valley, known for our artisan pastas, hand-stretched pizzas and modern Italian cuisine. Recognised as Australia's Best Pizza Restaurant and Best Casual Dining Restaurant at the 2025 Restaurant & Catering Awards, we're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Chef / Kitchen Hand to join our busy kitchen team.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, wide-ranging position suited to someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced kitchen and is happy to assist wherever needed. Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:
Assisting chefs with food preparation
Preparing and cooking dishes during service
Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
Assisting with stock rotation and deliveries
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Supporting the kitchen team during busy lunch and dinner services What We're Looking For
Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
Basic cooking skills and a genuine interest in food
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliability,



punctuality and attention to detail
Willingness to assist with all aspects of kitchen operations, including cleaning and dishes
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Availability for a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
