AYVA Packaging is looking for a motivated Junior Project & Automation Technician to join our growing Operations team in Wetherill Park.

This is an excellent chance for someone looking to build a career in manufacturing, engineering, automation or project management. You'll work directly with our Project & Technical Manager, supporting exciting projects involving new machinery, automation systems, product development, robotics and continuous improvement initiatives.

No university degree is required. We are looking for attitude, mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

You will assist with
Machinery installations and commissioning projects
Maintenance and technical troubleshooting




Production trials and new product development
Process optimisation and continuous improvement
Factory automation projects
Equipment testing and validation
Technical documentation and reporting
Working alongside experienced technical specialists and external suppliers

About You
Strong mechanical aptitude
A genuine interest in engineering and manufacturing
A willingness to learn and develop
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
A proactive and positive attitude

Bonus Points If You Have
Trade assistant experience
Manufacturing experience
Mechanical or engineering studies
Experience using tools and machinery
Forklift licence
