CAPTAIN HOOKED in Lorne, Victoria 3232 is seeking an experienced Chef to work full-time in the business. You will contribute to menu development and prepare food dishes to the highest standard. You will also work in a friendly team setting to provide excellent service and eating experience to our customers.

Key responsibilities
Preparing and cooking food using different cooking techniques
Ordering food supplies
Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discussing food preparation with colleagues
Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
Assisting with the training of staff

About you
Must have at least Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent
Must have at least 1 year of work experience in a similar role
Must be able to work in a rapid-paced environment
Must have solid food preparation, cooking and presentation skills
Effective communication, teamwork and organisational skills
