Receptionist / Assistant Practice Manager

We are seeking a capable and welcoming Receptionist / 2IC to join our client’s General Practice Reception & Admin Team.

This is an opportunity for a patient-focused Receptionist to help keep a busy front desk running smoothly and provide a positive first point of contact in a General Practice setting.You’ll support the day-to-day operation of the front desk and help deliver a professional, friendly experience for patients. As the 2IC, you’ll also provide support to the reception team and assist with maintaining an organised and efficient service.

Key responsibilities
Welcome patients and visitors, providing courteous and professional service.
Support the smooth daily operation of the medical reception area.
Assist the reception team and help maintain an organised front desk.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and colleagues.




Work closely with the PM on continuous improvement activities.

About you

You’ll bring a warm, qualified manner and enjoy helping people. Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills will help you succeed in this role, along with the confidence to support the reception function as 2IC.
Must have 3 yrs of experience in a busy General Practice on Reception
Demonstrated leadership qualities
Passionate about customer service
Versatile and happy to work across several practices in close proximity, when necessary
