The role emphasises cultural safety, engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and collaboration with case managers to meet offenders’ social and individual needs.

The position involves facilitating culturally competent services, linking offenders with suitable programs, and representing the department in community events such as NAIDOC Week.
