The Role

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in tendering major commercial projects, working closely with the Estimating Manager, senior leadership and project delivery teams to develop competitive and commercially sound submissions.

Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for major commercial construction projects across public and private sectors.
Reviewing tender documentation, preparing detailed quantity take-offs and developing bid strategies.
Managing subcontractor tender packages, assessing pricing and negotiating competitive outcomes.
Identifying value engineering opportunities, commercial risks and cost-saving strategies.




Managing the tender process through to final submission, including client negotiations and post-tender handovers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Senior Estimator with a proven track record of successfully tendering large scale projects.

You will bring:
Minimum 10 years' estimating experience within commercial construction.
Proven experience managing tenders exceeding $80M.
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Advanced proficiency in estimating software, ideally Buildsoft or Cubit.
Robust experience in subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and pricing negotiations.
Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, commercial risks and competitive tender strategies.
Ability to independently manage complex tenders and competing deadlines.
