About the company/role:

Our client is a fresh produce manufacturer supplying salads and ready-to-eat meal to major retailers across Australia. They are seeking a QC Officer to join their team at their site in Western Sydney. It is a requirement to be adaptable to work across day or afternoon shift. This is a full-time, casual role with opportunities for progression.

Duties:
Conduct routine quality control inspections of fresh produce products to ensure compliance with food safety and product quality standards.
Perform in-process and finished product checks, including weight verification, temperature monitoring, seal integrity assessments, and sensory evaluations.
Collect samples for microbiological and shelf-life testing, ensuring products met customer specifications and regulatory requirements.




Complete quality documentation and production records and investigated non-conformances.
Work closely with production teams to monitor GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance.

Skills/experience:
Previous experience working in a food manufacturing workplace is essential
Tertiary qualifications in Food Science is not essential but is highly regarded
Robust communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise tasks
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
