About the Role

As an Aged Care Registered Nurse or Aged Care Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality clinical care to residents across a variety of residential aged care facilities throughout Cairns.

Working within multidisciplinary care teams, you will support residents while delivering protected, compassionate and person-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering high-quality nursing care to aged care residents
- Medication administration and clinical interventions within scope of practice
- Monitoring and responding to changes in resident conditions
- Supporting assessments, care planning and clinical documentation
- Promoting resident wellbeing,



dignity and independence
- Maintaining infection control and aged care quality standards
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and care teams
- Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum 12 months recent residential aged care experience
- Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- A resident-focused and compassionate approach to care
- Ability to adapt to different aged care environments
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon and night shifts
- Full Australian working rights

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Up-to-date vaccinations and compliance documentation
