Position Overview:
Dryway Waterproofing Engineering - Dryway specialises in waterproofing, concrete leak repairs and water ingress control for residential, commercial, civil and infrastructure assets. The company combines technical expertise, precise methods and quality-focused workmanship to help protect structures and deliver durable repairs.

As a Plasterer at Dryway Waterproofing Engineering, you will be responsible for preparing, repairing and finishing concrete and masonry surfaces, including plastering and rendering associated with waterproofing and remedial construction projects. This position requires robust technical workmanship, attention to detail and a commitment to safe, durable finishes.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Interpret drawings, specifications and repair scopes to plan plastering, rendering and surface-finishing works on concrete and masonry structures affected by water ingress.
- Prepare wall, ceiling and concrete substrates by cleaning, removing loose or deteriorated material and patching defects before plastering or remedial coatings.
- Measure, mix and apply plaster, cement render and compatible repair mortars to internal and external surfaces, achieving the specified thickness and even finish.
- Plumb, straighten and level corners, edges, walls and other surfaces to create sound, uniform substrates for waterproofing and protective finishes.
- Install and finish corner beads, trims, joint treatments and other plaster fittings where required for durable edges and accurate detailing.
- Smooth,



float and texture plastered or rendered surfaces to match surrounding finishes and meet project specifications following concrete leak repair.
- Repair cracks, damaged plaster and deteriorated render around concrete joints, penetrations and repaired areas in coordination with waterproofing specialists.
- Inspect substrate moisture, adhesion and finish quality; identify defects and complete touch-ups before handover or subsequent coating works.
- Coordinate daily work with site supervisors, waterproofing technicians and other trades to sequence surface preparation, repairs and finishing efficiently.
- Set up and maintain tools, mixers and work areas, protect adjacent surfaces, and comply with site safety procedures and manufacturer instructions.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant qualification.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Plasterer
- Ability to interpret construction plans, repair specifications and technical instructions.
- Practical knowledge of plastering, cement rendering, surface preparation and finishing methods.
- Strong attention to detail in concrete remediation and waterproofing-related finishing works.
- Ability to work safely and collaboratively across construction and infrastructure project sites.

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
