We are seeking a experienced Facilities Manager to manage the smooth operation and maintenance of commercial properties. This is an excellent prospect to take on an independent role within a dynamic team, ensuring buildings are safe, well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and that tenants are satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security
- Coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure minimal disruption
- Oversee vendor management and service contracts
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Develop and oversee maintenance budgets and reporting
- Manage fit out processes
- Provide some direction to a team of support staff
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial facilities management
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations
- After hours / on call
