As they continue to grow, they're looking for an experienced Department Manager to lead a key Home & Living department within their Queensland flagship store.

About the Role
This is a high-profile leadership opportunity where you'll take ownership of a large-format department, leading your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences while driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

As Department Manager, you will:

- Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Home & Living department
- Coach, motivate and develop a high-performing retail team
- Drive department performance through exceptional customer service and commercial excellence
- Manage stock flow, inventory and replenishment within a high-volume environment
- Maintain outstanding visual merchandising and presentation standards
- Analyse department performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure operational processes, safety standards and compliance are consistently achieved
- Lead from the front, creating an engaging and customer-focused team culture

What you'll bring

- Previous leadership experience within big-box or large-format retail




- Experience managing high-volume departments and large stock holdings
- Strong people leadership and coaching capability
- Excellent organisational and operational management skills
- Confidence working with KPIs and commercial performance
- A hands-on leadership style with a passion for customer service
- Experience within homewares, manchester, furnishings or general merchandise will be highly regarded
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
