About the Client
Our client is an established Australian retailer specialising in premium home furnishings and interior solutions. With an exceptional reputation for customer service and exciting growth plans, they are looking for a passionate Sales Consultant to join their Homemaker Centre showroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys consultative selling, building genuine customer relationships and guiding customers through considered purchasing decisions. If you're service-driven, commercially minded and thrive in a team environment, you'll feel right at home.
About the role
As Sales Consultant, you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences from initial enquiry through to purchase
- Build lasting customer relationships through personalised service
- Understand customer needs and recommend tailored product solutions
- Work collaboratively with the wider showroom team to achieve shared goals
- Maintain high showroom presentation and merchandising standards
- Manage customer enquiries both in person and over the phone
- Develop strong product knowledge to confidently guide purchasing decisions
- Contribute to a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture
What you'll bring
- Previous experience in retail or showroom sales
- A genuine passion for customer service and relationship building
- Confidence working towards sales targets within a supportive team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, positive and professional approach
- Experience within furniture, homewares, interiors or another consultative retail environment will be highly regarded
- A desire to learn, grow and build a long-term retail career

- $65K-$75K + Super (pro rata), depending on experience
