We are seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist for a 12-month contract prospect supporting sustaining capital projects within a leading mining and resources organisation. This role will focus on labour contract management, workforce coordination and commercial performance across major construction projects, supporting arrangements covering up to 400 operators.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage labour contracts and contractor workforce arrangements across capital projects.
- Coordinate with established labour hire suppliers and vendor panels to meet project workforce requirements.
- Monitor labour market conditions, benchmark pay rates and assess commercial competitiveness.
- Apply employment law knowledge to labour arrangements and contractual obligations.
- Support workforce optimisation, labour planning and cost efficiency initiatives.
- Partner with project teams and stakeholders to align workforce availability with project schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, labour costs, compliance and commercial risks.
- Provide commercial advice and recommendations to project and procurement stakeholders.
- Undertake sourcing, supplier negotiations and end-to-end procurement activities as required.

About You





- Demonstrated experience in labour contract management, labour sourcing, contractor management or workforce optimisation.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law is essential.
- Experience supporting construction, capital projects, mining, resources, infrastructure or other heavy industry environments.
- Experience managing labour hire suppliers, vendor panels or contractor workforce arrangements.
- Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to assess labour costs, market competitiveness and workforce requirements.

Procurement and strategic sourcing experience will be highly regarded. Candidates with strong workforce optimisation and labour contract management experience are encouraged to apply.
