A permanent trade assistant job in Newman paying $80,000 + super (NOT FIFO)

Your recent company
My client is a market leader in the supply and recertification of earthmover wheels.
Your new role

- Assist qualified tradespeople/technicians with wheel, rim and tyre-related workshop activities.
- Help with inspection, maintenance and repair work on mining wheels and rims.
- Use hand and power tools for basic trade and workshop tasks.
- Prepare, move, load and unload wheels, rims, tyres, tooling and other equipment.
- Assist with equipment and tool maintenance.
- Set up equipment and work areas ready for jobs.
- Carry out general labouring and workshop duties.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe, including end-of-job housekeeping.
- Follow WHS procedures and safe working practices, particularly important around large mining wheels,



tyres and workshop equipment.
- Work as part of the Newman workshop team and take direction from qualified tradespeople.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role and a forklift licence a must
What you'll get in return
This is a permanent role and will pay up to $40ph + super/penalties.
