About the role

We are seeking passionate and professional Waitstaff for our upscale bistro at Calamansi by Sarah Tiong, located in Cremorne, NSW. This is a part-time position that offers the perfect opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team in one of the region's most respected dining establishments. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of service that define our establishment.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, and seating them appropriately

- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently whilst providing knowledgeable recommendations

- Serving food and beverages with precision, adhering to fine dining service standards and techniques

- Maintaining exceptional knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary considerations

- Clearing and resetting tables throughout service with attention to detail and efficiency

- Managing multiple tables simultaneously whilst ensuring personalised attention to each guest

- Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns

- Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow

- Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and hygiene

- Contributing to a clean, organised and welcoming dining environment

- Processing payments and managing the till system accurately

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as waiting staff in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining composure

- Professional demeanour with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service





- Knowledge of fine dining service standards and etiquette

- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely

- Willingness to learn and develop within a team-oriented environment

- Relevant hospitality qualifications or certifications are advantageous
