About the Role
This is not a traditional Orthoptics position.
A significant part of your role will involve delivering individualised vision therapy and visual rehabilitation programs to children and adults with developmental, binocular vision and neurological visual challenges.
Working alongside our Optometrists, you will help patients improve visual function, confidence, learning, participation and quality of life through evidence-based therapy and rehabilitation programs.
Why This Work Matters
At Bullseye Clinic, we believe vision is about far more than eyesight.
Every day, we work with children who are struggling at school, avoiding reading, losing confidence, or finding everyday tasks harder than they should be. We also support adults rebuilding their lives after concussion, brain injury and neurological illness.
Behind every assessment, therapy program and clinical outcome is a person, a family and a story.
When families come to us, they are often looking for answers, hope and support. As part of our team, you'll have the privilege of walking alongside them and celebrating milestones that genuinely change lives.
If you're someone who finds fulfilment in helping people achieve their potential, you'll feel at home here.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one vision therapy and visual rehabilitation programs
- Support children with binocular vision, eye teaming, visual processing and developmental vision challenges
- Provide rehabilitation support for patients recovering from concussion, acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions
- Monitor patient progress and modify therapy programs to achieve clinical outcomes
- Educate and coach parents to support therapy success at home
- Perform orthoptic, binocular vision and functional vision assessments
- Assist with treatment planning alongside our Optometrists
- Utilise advanced diagnostic technology including OCT, retinal imaging, corneal topography and specialised binocular vision assessment equipment
- Contribute to exceptional patient experiences and long-term clinical outcomes
