Exodas is a well-established and growing transport and logistics company operating along the East coast of Australia, from Nth Queensland through to Melbourne.
Head Office is located in Yatala (QLD) with depots/yards also located in Melbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.
The Role
- Plan the loading of linehaul units into North Queensland to:
- Maximise load capacity
- Ensure freight is loaded in the most efficient delivery order
- Ensure freight is at correct temperature(s) for product
- Co-ordinate with loaders to ensure departure times are met
- Inform receiving depots of inbound freight for delivery
- Communicate with drivers as required to answer driver queries
?About you
- Experience within the linehaul/interstate road transport sector is desirable
- Experience and understanding of refrigerated freight is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate (Office, Excel) computer skills are essential
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a sometimes high paced and high pressure environment
- Ability to work well in a team workplace
Full training will be provided- but you must be a go getter and learn on the fly!
