Hire by Kombine coordinates equipment hire for construction, commercial and industrial clients across Australia. From powered access, plant and earthmoving to site accommodation, traffic management, generators and propping, we source the right gear, set up sites and manage the hire from start to finish, so our clients deal with one team instead of ten suppliers. Who you will be
You’ll be the person who makes our major projects run smoothly behind the scenes. We’ll connect you with the right contacts at each of our suppliers and clients, and you’ll own that relationship from there - getting the paperwork in, keeping it organised, and making sure nothing is left to the last minute. When Kyle or the team need something for a project, it comes to you.

It’s a full-time role based at our Knoxfield office. Flexibility is something we build in once you’re established.

Let’s be upfront
This is a new division and we’re building it as we go. Some days will be planned, and some will be all hands on deck. If you want a role where everything is already mapped out, this isn’t it. If you like being part of building something and you’re not thrown by a bit of chaos, you’ll love it.

What you’ll own

Major project compliance

- Collecting, checking and organising compliance documentation for each project - SWMS, insurances, licences, inductions and site requirements

- Chasing suppliers and subcontractors for paperwork with plenty of lead time, not the week before

- Making sure every setup meets client and safety requirements

- Keeping project records complete, accurate and audit-ready

Project coordination

- Compiling and organising project information so the team has what they need, when they need it

- Following up actions and keeping projects moving

- Entering and maintaining project information in our systems

Supplier & client liaison





- Ongoing point of contact for our suppliers on major projects

- Handling queries from suppliers, clients and site teams

- Keeping everyone informed and on the same page

Operational support

- General admin and support across the division as it grows

- Helping build the processes that make our projects run better each time

- Using AI and automation to keep things simple as we scale

What you’ll need
~ Construction compliance experience - you know your way around SWMS, insurances, licences, inductions and prequalification, and can hit the ground running
~ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
~ Confidence dealing with suppliers, subcontractors, site managers and clients

~ A sharp mind and a problem solver on the spot
~ Meticulous - you get the detail right the first time
~ Hard working and dedicated
~ Calm under pressure and excited by growth, not overwhelmed by it
