Dental Assistant/Receptionist Required for Immediate Start

This is a wide-ranging role combining dental assisting and front desk/reception duties. The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy setting, organised, reliable and passionate about providing excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities
Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures
Preparing and setting up surgeries
Cleaning, sterilisation and infection-control procedures
Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and qualified manner
Answering phones and responding to patient enquiries
Booking, confirming and rescheduling appointments
Processing payments, HICAPS and EFTPOS transactions
Maintaining accurate patient records
Managing recalls and follow up appointments
General reception and administrative duties

About you
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is warm, friendly and confident when speaking with patients




Is organised and able to multitask in a busy environment
Has excellent attention to detail
Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Works well as part of a team
Has a positive and professional attitude
Is willing to learn and develop their skills
Experience with EXACT dental software, HICAPS and dental reception is highly regarded
