We are looking for a part-time Certificate III Assistant Educator to join our team at Play and Learn Bismark Street.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being with children, values relationships and wellbeing, and wants to be part of a team that is continually reflecting on what children deserve from early childhood education and care.

While your roster will include different shift times, you will know what you are working from week to week,

- Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

- Are passionate about early childhood education and genuinely enjoy spending your day with children

- Value children's rights, autonomy and agency

- Believe relationships and wellbeing are fundamental to children's learning

- Value both indoor and outdoor learning and support children to move between these environments at their own pace

- Are warm, reliable, playful and willing to take initiative

- Enjoy contributing to a team and sharing your own ideas and strengths

- Are reflective and open to learning and doing things differently

- Aren't afraid to get outside, get messy and be involved

- Want to contribute to positive change within the early childhood sector

- Hold, or are willing to obtain, a current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
