Star Community Care is an NDIS-registered disability services provider committed to delivering quality support. We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis and support our accounting and NDIS financial administration functions.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.

- Preparing financial reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts.

- Supporting payroll, BAS preparation and statutory reporting.

- Reviewing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.

- Supporting NDIS financial administration, including participant budget tracking and financial statements where applicable.

- Preparing supporting documentation for audits and regulatory requests.

- Working with management to strengthen financial controls and processes.

About you

To be considered, you must have:

- A recognised degree in Accounting or an equivalent accounting qualification.





- Current CPA Australia membership with CPA status.

- Relevant accounting experience and a sound understanding of Australian accounting and taxation requirements.

- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

- Confidence using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- An NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance, or willingness to obtain one before commencing relevant duties.

- A current NSW Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.

Experience in NDIS plan management, disability services or a similar environment will be highly regarded.
