At Border Switchboards Sheetmetal and Powdercoating we are a local company with three active and thriving divisions. Our powder coating section is experiencing continual growth and as such we have a current vacancy for a Powder Coater or Powder Coating assistant to join our team.
The role:
- Prepare and clean products for powder coating
- Hang products in preparation for powder coating
- Powder coat products
- Remove products after cured in oven
- Pack completed products to protect in transit
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance checks
- Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness
- Communicate with production team to ensure smooth workflow
The person:
- Experience with powder coating essential
- Attention for detail and pride in your work
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Hard working and reliable
- Transport to and from work
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Forklift license would be advantageous
