We are seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join the team in Fairfield, VIC. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys helping customers, handling inbound enquiries and being a general support across the business.

THE COMPANY
Our client is an established Australian-owned business based in Fairfield, Victoria, specialising in supplying tailored industrial product solutions to a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, transport, automotive and government.

THE ROLE

- Answer inbound phone calls and respond to customer enquiries.
- Manage inbound email enquiries and provide timely follow-ups.
- Understand customer requirements and assist with identifying suitable industrial products and solutions.
- Provide basic technical product support and guidance.
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on customer requests.
- Assist with logistics coordination, including deliveries and order updates.
- Provide general administrative support across the business.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer orders and requirements are managed efficiently.
- Be a reliable all-round support to the wider business as needed.

THE CANDIDATE
To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Experience in a customer service or support role.
- Strong communication skills and confidence handling phone and email enquiries.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to understand customer requirements.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to learn technical products and provide practical solutions.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to assist across different areas of the business.

Experience in retail, industrial supplies, electrical wholesale, trade sales, automotive parts or technical customer service would be highly regarded. Candidates with transferable product knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply!
