Role Outline

This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing in 2027.

As a Design and Technologies Teacher (Wood/Metals), you will play a key role in delivering agile, future-focused learning experiences that equip students with practical skills, technical expertise and a passion for design, manufacturing and craftsmanship.

You will design and implement innovative programs within the areas of woodwork/metalwork and product design, fostering creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving. Through hands-on learning experiences, you will inspire students to develop confidence in the safe and effective use of tools, materials and technologies while encouraging innovation and design thinking.

You will create and maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive workshop environment that promotes collaboration and excellence.



Committed to the holistic development of young people, you will support students academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually, while actively contributing to the faith life and mission of the College.

About You

For this role, you will need:

· A tertiary teaching qualification and TRBWA registration
· A current Working with Children registration
· To be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education
· To be working towards or have completed the Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School
