About the Role
This is a 24/7 supported living environment, offering a variety of morning, afternoon and overnight shifts.

Available shift times:

- Morning: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Overnight: 10:00pm – 6:00am

An optimised roster will be finalised closer to commencement, with successful applicants having the opportunity to select their preferred roster line, subject to availability and operational requirements.

Applicants must be willing to travel to Kirrawee and have flexibility to work across the available shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality, person-centred support to a participant with complex behaviours and support needs.
- Implement Behaviour Support Plans and follow appropriate behaviour management strategies.
- Support epilepsy management and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
- Follow authorised restrictive practices and relevant safety procedures.
- Provide medication assistance in accordance with care plans and organisational procedures.
- Assist with manual handling and mobility support.
- Provide complex bowel care and catheter support where required.
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintain detailed documentation.
- Maintain a safe, structured and supportive home environment.
- Build positive relationships while promoting independence,



dignity and choice.

About You

We are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who are confident working in complex support environments and can demonstrate:

- Strong experience in behaviour support and behaviour management.
- Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy.
- Understanding of restrictive practices and compliance requirements.
- Confidence completing incident reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Experience with medication assistance.
- Manual handling experience.
- Experience with complex bowel care and catheter support.
- A calm, patient and proactive approach when responding to challenging situations.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated support team.
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster.

Essential Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (where required).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Relevant disability support experience, particularly within complex support environments.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Kirrawee.

Pay Rates

Casual – SCHADS Award E3.1 (In-Home & SIL)
Competitive casual rates apply, before tax:

- Base rate: $36.81 per hour
- Afternoon shift: $40.49 per hour
- Active night shift: $41.23 per hour
- Saturday: $51.54 per hour
- Sunday: $66.26 per hour
- Public holiday: $80.99 per hour
