- Ensuring complete statutory and regulatory tax compliance across group entities, managing BAS/GST lodgements, payroll tax reconciliations, leave provisions, and FBT returns alongside external tax advisors.
- Supervising and reviewing daily transactional processing, invoice entry, accounts receivable follow-ups, and routine payroll runs performed by an offshore Assistant Accountant.
- Managing intercompany loan accounts, intercompany recharges, and eliminations across operating subsidiaries to maintain clean, audit-ready balance sheets.
- Supporting baseline FP&A; operations by maintaining the short-term cash flow tracker, compiling actual-versus-budget expense variances, and assisting with data compilation for annual budget roll-forwards.
- Leveraging the group's enterprise AI tools and automation platforms to streamline recurring ledger reconciliations and transactional accounting routines.
- Assisting executive leadership with ad-hoc schedule preparation and documentation connected to ongoing group structuring and entity setups.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a technically grounded, detail-focused accounting skilled who takes pride in balance sheet integrity and thrives in an evolving, fast-paced environment. You are a pragmatic, solutions-oriented operator with strong communication skills and an appetite for modern workflow efficiency.
In addition, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, with CA/CPA status (or equivalent international qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, either completed or underway).
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, month-end ledger ownership, and statutory compliance within Australia or a comparable jurisdiction.
- Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 or 462) holders with full Australian work rights are strongly encouraged to apply, with employer sponsorship supported for high-performing talent transitioning to permanent status.
- Strong personal accountability, high attention to detail, and the adaptability to maintain structure within a dynamic scale-up setting.
