The opportunity
Buildability Group is building a crew for a leading national contractor delivering the installation of a new Sydney Water Pre-Treatment Plant at Horsley Park. It’s a major infrastructure project with plenty of hours on offer. Our client also has a strong pipeline of work across water, mining, energy and industrial projects, so there’s genuine scope for ongoing work once this one wraps up.

What you’ll be doing

- Supporting fitters, pipe fitters and boilermakers with piping, structural steel and mechanical installation
- Handling, moving and preparing materials and equipment
- General site labouring, housekeeping and site setup
- Working safely at heights and from EWPs as required
- Following site safety procedures and helping keep the work area compliant

Rates (including $11/hr in allowances)

- Labourers: $46.87/hr
- Skilled TAs: $48.13/hr

You’ll bring

- Experience on construction, infrastructure, mining, oil and gas,



shutdown or industrial sites
- For TAs, hands-on experience assisting tradespeople on piping, steel or mechanical installs
- A safety-first attitude, reliability and a robust work ethic
- The ability to take direction and work well within a crew

Must have: White Card, Driver’s Licence, EWP (Yellow Card), Working at Heights

Highly regarded: Confined Space, Telehandler, Basic Rigging, CN/C6, First Aid, Silica Awareness, Fit Test
