About the role

This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service over the phone and to external customers, loading orders in addition to performing other administrative tasks and reports.

Training on our in-house systems will be provided. You'll work closely with our sales reps and sales manager to ensure customers are well looked after, and systems stay up to date.

This is an inbound, phone-based role with no cold calling or outbound sales involved. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll be the friendly voice helping them place their orders and providing a positive customer experience.

We’re looking for someone who can work Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, as well as provide holiday cover for both day and afternoon shifts.

Key responsibilities

- Answer inbound phone calls and take orders

- Build trusted relationships with regular customers

- Respond to emails and product enquiries





- Process orders accurately using internal software

- Liaise with sales reps and managers to resolve service issues

About you

- Excellent phone and email communication skills

- Robust customer service mindset with a helpful attitude

- Confident using computers, with good typing speed and accuracy

- Comfortable learning new systems – full training provided on internal software

- Able to multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced environment

- Team-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused approach

- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, meat industry, call center's or other fast-paced environments highly regarded
