Join the Fleurieu family. Fleurieu Motor Group is looking for a Service Advisor to join our Service Department at Victor Harbor.

This is the role that sets the tone for the whole service experience. You are the person customers speak to when they book in, when they drop off, and when they pick up. Get that right and customers come back for years.

Victor Harbor is a beautiful coastal town just one hour from Adelaide CBD.

Fleurieu Motor Group is a family owned and operated, multi-franchise business representing Toyota, Mitsubishi and Hyundai, along with a large range of quality pre-owned vehicles.

We are the largest private employer on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula and maintain a staff of close to 40 local employees, across our sales, servicing, parts and pre-delivery operations.

We do not sell on pressure. We explain things plainly, give honest advice and look after customers for the life of the vehicle.

The opportunity, what you will be doing

- Be the first point of contact for service customers in person, over the phone and by email.

- Book service appointments and manage the daily workshop schedule alongside the Service Manager and technicians.

- Prepare job cards accurately so technicians have the information they need the first time.

- Explain recommended repairs, servicing requirements and costs in plain English, and get customer authorisation before work proceeds.

- Keep customers updated throughout the day, ensuring peak customer service.

- Explain capped price servicing, warranty, maintenance plans and genuine parts clearly and honestly.

- Process invoicing, payments and accurate service records.

- Complete follow-up calls after service to make sure the customer is happy.

- Work with the Parts, Pre-Delivery and Sales departments to keep vehicles moving.





- Complete and maintain all manufacturer accreditation and training requirements.

About you, what we need

- A positive attitude and a genuine interest in looking after people.

- Proven experience in a customer-facing role.

- Organised, calm under pressure and able to maintain data integrity

- Confident on the phone and able to build rapport quickly.

- Comfortable with computers, DMS and booking systems.

- Mechanical aptitude is an advantage but not essential.

- Able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Current Australian driver's licence.

Manufacturer standards and training

This role carries manufacturer obligations.

You will be required to complete and maintain Toyota, Mitsubishi and Hyundai service accreditation and product training, and to meet customer experience, compliance and process standards set by each manufacturer.

Training is provided and fully supported by the business. Keeping certification current is a condition of the role.
