About the role

You'll work on the electrical fit-out and upgrade of a live, operational data centre, where uptime is non-negotiable and every change is planned, documented and executed with precision. Working in the maintenance team with specialist contractors, you'll be involved in a significant infrastructure project at a Tier IV facility.

Key responsibilities

- Installation, termination and commissioning of LV distribution, including main and sub-boards, busway and PDUs
- UPS, ATS, generator and switchgear works, including changeovers and load transfers
- Containment, cabling and power distribution
- Testing, verification and accurate as-built documentation
- Supporting commissioning and integrated systems testing

About you

- Current Victorian A-grade electrician licence (essential)
- Experience in commercial or other critical environments




- Solid understanding of AS/NZS 3000 and working safely on or near energised infrastructure
- Disciplined about procedure, change control and documentation
- Calm under pressure and comfortable working to tight, coordinated windows (some after-hours work required)
- Construction Induction (White Card) and ability to obtain a National Police Check
- Desirable: REC, high-voltage experience, CEC/UPS vendor training
