City Cave Idalia is looking for a full-time Centre Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our busy wellness centre in Townsville.

You’ll work closely with an engaged owner, bring fresh ideas to the centre and have the opportunity to make a visible difference to its performance and client experience.

YOUR ROLE

This is an active, hands-on position combining leadership, business management and exceptional guest care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.
• Clean and prepare float rooms and saunas, manage laundry and daily facility presentation.
• Perform opening and closing duties.

• Driving bookings, memberships, sales and business performance.
• Maintaining presentation standards, completing routine equipment checks and coordinating maintenance.

• Leading,



recruiting and developing the team.
• Managing rostering, timesheets and payroll processes.
• Managing stock, supplies and daily priorities.
• Building local relationships and supporting marketing initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

You’re practical, approachable and organised. You enjoy variety, take initiative and can balance the needs of your guests, your team and the business.

You’ll bring:

• Hands on experience leading people and managing daily operations.
• Confidence with rostering, administration and learning new systems.
• A commercial mindset and enthusiasm for achieving targets.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to delegate, develop others and lead by example.
• A willingness to contribute to the physical, practical side of running the centre.
• Availability for a roster that includes some evenings and weekends.

This role would suit a hands-on Manager or Assistant Manager looking for their next career move. Experience in wellness, fitness, hospitality or retail highly desirable.
