What You Will Be Working On
You already know what a BMS Project Manager does. Here is what will shape your work in this role:

- Running the full lifecycle of BMS and IBMS projects: design, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to hit milestones, financial targets and customer outcomes
- Owning the commercials, including budgets, forecasting, schedules, resources and contract deliverables
- Overseeing FAT, SAT, commissioning, system optimisation and technical handovers
- Building robust relationships with clients, consultants,



contractors and internal teams, and acting as their trusted technical advisor
- Keeping projects aligned with customer specifications, quality standards and regulations while leading a strong safety culture
- Producing project documentation, reports, risk assessments and QA deliverables
- Finding ways to improve standardisation and efficiency, with room to shape how projects are delivered

What Type of Person Will Be Successful
You enjoy both sides of project management: the technical depth of controls and integration, and the commercial discipline of running a profitable job. You will likely bring:

- A qualification in electrical, HVAC, controls, automation or engineering
- A track record delivering BMS, BAS or IBMS projects in commercial, healthcare, industrial, education or critical infrastructure settings
- Strong knowledge of controls architecture and system integration, including BACnet, Modbus, networking and IT infrastructure
- Experience with HVAC plant such as chillers, boilers and AHUs, along with energy optimisation strategies
- Hands on experience leading FAT, SAT, commissioning and building tuning
- Sound commercial judgement across budgets, profitability and project risk
- Confident stakeholder skills and a proactive, solutions focused approach
