About the role

IGA Bilgola Plateau is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our supermarket business. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring efficient store performance, strong financial outcomes, and high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and oversee daily store operations, including staff supervision and workflow coordination

- Plan and organise store operations to meet sales targets and business objectives

- Monitor financial performance, including sales, margins, wages, and expenses

- Control inventory levels, stock ordering, and stock presentation to maximise sales

- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and company policies

- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including rostering and performance management





- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints

- Implement promotional and merchandising strategies to drive sales

- Liaise with suppliers and ensure productive procurement and stock replenishment

About you

- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Proven ability to manage store performance and achieve financial targets

- Experience in stock control, merchandising, and supplier coordination

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience in supermarket or grocery retail highly regarded
