About the role

Alt Living manages 200+ apartments across Sydney. We’re looking for a reliable, practical handyperson to join our team in Sydney.

What you’ll be doing

- Regular maintenance visits – minor repairs, patching, fixtures, doors, locks and lighting

- Building walk-throughs and condition reports

- Managing cleaners, painters and trades, and checking their work is finished properly

- Ad hoc jobs – CCTV, access fobs, lock-outs, bins and waste areas

- Occasional support on urgent after-hours issues such as leaks, alarms, lift, power or security

What we’re looking for

- Practical, tidy and reliable

- Comfortable with basic carpentry, plastering, painting and general repairs

- Valuable communicator with management, tenants and trades

- Based within easy reach of the Inner West

- Own basic tools and a smartphone





Nice to have (not essential)

- Trade qualification, apprenticeship in progress, or trade assistant experience

- White Card

- Driver’s licence

- Experience in residential buildings, strata or property management
