Duty Manager wanted:

The Kewdale Tavern is seeking a Duty Manager to join our management team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in running a smooth shift, and is happy to roll up their sleeves when the venue needs it.

We’re a working tavern with both bar operations and a bottle shop on site. Some shifts are relaxed, others are fast-paced - the key is being confident leading the team and service at all times.

About the role:

- Running shifts and overseeing day-to-day venue operations

- Opening and closing the venue (2-3 closes per week)

- Leading and supporting the team on shift

- Reporting directly to the Venue Manager

- Stepping in wherever needed on the day - whether that’s service, resolving issues, or looking after patrons

- Keeping the venue organised and running smoothly during both quiet and busy periods

What we’re looking for:

- Previous hospitality management experience

- Current RSA

- Current Australian Approved Managers Licence

- Valid Australian driver’s licence

- Robust leadership and communication skills

- A practical, flexible approach and willingness to jump in where required
