About the Role As a Meat Worker / Forklift Operator, you'll play an essential role in keeping daily operations running smoothly within a busy meat distribution warehouse. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position involving heavy lifting, forklift operation and the handling of meat products.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Operating forklifts to move, load and unload stock
Handling and moving animal carcasses and meat products
Heavy lifting and manual handling of products weighing up to 27kg
Working within a refrigerated cold-store workplace
Using RF scanning guns to track and manage stock
Loading and unloading deliveries
General warehouse duties to support daily operations

Shifts & Pay
Location: Marrickville, NSW
Shift Times: 4am – 12pm
Before 6am: $40.04 per hour
After 6am: $33.36 per hour

What We're Looking For
Current Forklift Licence (essential)
Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience
Experience using RF scanning guns (essential)
Ability to safely lift and manually handle products weighing up to 27kg
Comfortable working with animal carcasses and meat products
Willingness to work in a refrigerated cold-store workplace
Physically fit and comfortable undertaking repetitive, labour-intensive tasks
Reliability and commitment to early morning starts
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
