Occupational Therapist (Contract) | Melbourne Metro

Location: St Kilda, Prahran & Fitzroy, Melbourne
Rate: Up to $70 per hour + Super

Contract Length: Immediate start through to 24th December

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for an exciting contract prospect supporting clients across Melbourne Metro. This role offers a combination of office-based work and community visits, with a focus on conducting home assessments and recommending modifications that support safe discharge and independent living.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct home and environmental assessments
Assess clients' functional independence and support needs
Recommend home modifications and assistive equipment
Support safe discharge planning and transitions back into the community
Complete assessment reports and documentation
Liaise with clients, families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Balance office-based administrative duties with community visits





Essential Requirements
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
Current AHPRA registration
Experience completing home assessments and functional assessments
Robust communication and report writing skills
Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Ability to commence work immediately
