Our client is a leading Australian-owned manufacturer with over 60 years of engineering expertise, known for their commitment to quality, reliability and safety. Based in Blacktown, they design, build and service vibratory equipment that keeps Australia's mining, quarrying and manufacturing industries moving.

About The Opportunity

This is a genuinely hands-on role. You’ll spend most of your day on the tools, leading by example on the workshop floor while guiding a skilled multi-trade team. You’ll be:
Assembling, wiring, testing and fault-finding vibratory equipment, electric motors and control systems
Servicing and repairing equipment returned from mine and quarry sites
Leading and mentoring Fitters, Painters, Coil Winders, Technicians and Apprentices on the floor
Planning the day’s jobs and keeping work moving safely and on schedule
Operating forklifts and overhead cranes for loading, unloading and despatch




Setting the standard for protected work practices across the workshop

About You

The successful candidate will have:
Current unrestricted Electrical Licence
Trade qualifications with proven supervisory experience in a workshop or manufacturing setting
Solid leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team
Hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude
Experience coordinating workflow and managing multiple priorities, with a solid understanding of WHS and protected work practices
Overhead crane experience (desirable, training can be provided)
