About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Personal Injury Lawyer to join a well-established law firm in Perth. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of plaintiff personal injury matters, supporting clients through the claims and litigation process.

Key responsibilities
Managing a range of plaintiff personal injury matters, including workers' compensation, motor vehicle accidents and public liability claims
Providing legal advice to clients on their rights, entitlements and potential compensation claims
Drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, statements and other court documents
Reviewing and analysing medical evidence, expert reports and liability assessments
Conducting legal research and developing strategies to progress claims
Liaising with clients, insurers, medical professionals, counsel and other relevant stakeholders
Attending mediations, settlement conferences and court proceedings
Negotiating settlements and assisting clients throughout the claims process
Managing files efficiently while maintaining robust client relationships

About you
Admitted to practise in Western Australia with a current practising certificate
Experience in personal injury law, ideally within a plaintiff practice




Exposure to workers' compensation, motor vehicle accident or public liability claims
Strong legal drafting, research and analytical skills
Ability to manage your own files and meet competing deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
Strong attention to detail and sound judgement
A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with clients
A collaborative attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing
