Mining Employment Services (MES) is currently seeking an experienced Store person to join an established Western Australian mining operation. FIFO Roster 8:6.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and safety-focused Store person with previous mining experience to support the efficient management of site inventory, materials and warehouse operations;

THE ROLE:

As a Store person, you will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse and inventory functions, ensuring materials, parts and equipment are received, stored and issued safely and efficiently to support site operations.

Key responsibilities include:
Receiving, inspecting and processing incoming goods and materials;
Picking, packing and issuing parts, equipment and consumables;
Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels using Pronto;
Conducting stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations;
Managing the safe storage, handling and organisation of warehouse materials;
Processing goods receipts, stock transfers and dispatch documentation;
Identifying and resolving stock discrepancies;
Liaising with maintenance, operations, logistics teams, suppliers and contractors;
Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures, Dangerous Goods storage requirements and relevant regulations;




Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this prospect, you will ideally possess:
Previous Store person or warehouse experience, preferably within the mining or resources sector;
Experience using Pronto inventory management systems;
Current Forklift Licence (LF);
Strong inventory control, stock management and warehouse administration skills;
Good computer literacy and accurate data entry skills;
Strong planning, organisational and time management abilities;
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team;
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements;
Availability to work an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth.
