Waverley Council is seeking fit, reliable and motivated Team Members to join our Resource Recovery team, providing waste collection services to residential and commercial customers.

About the role

You will:
Empty mobile garbage bins and collect green and hard waste
Report damaged or contaminated bins
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow Council procedures
Work as part of a team to deliver quality services

About you

You will have:
NSW School Certificate or equivalent
A current Class C driver’s licence, which you must maintain
Valuable communication, teamwork and customer service skills
Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to work outside normal hours, on public holidays and rostered overtime
The physical fitness required for waste collection and safe manual handling
A commitment to continuous improvement, work health and safety, equal chance, risk management and environmental protection

Permanent full time role – 38 hours per week
Monday to Friday, with 4:30 am or 5:00 am starts




Salary: $58,296.13–$66,995.47 plus 12% superannuation and allowances
