Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a global mining organisation to source an experienced Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A;) Specialist for an immediate start. This is a 6-month temporary assignment, ideal for a hands-on finance skilled with solid budgeting, forecasting and operational cost control experience within a mining or heavy industry environment.

Based in Brisbane, this role will also require monthly travel to a Queensland mine site, providing exposure to site-based operations and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles across operational cost centres
Provide detailed cost analysis and variance reporting to support decision-making
Partner with site and corporate stakeholders to drive cost control initiatives
Support month-end and forecast updates within SAP
Deliver transparent financial insights to operational and senior leadership teams

About You:
Proven experience in FP&A;,



budgeting and forecasting, ideally within mining or resources
Strong operational cost control and analysis capability
Hands-on experience using SAP
Comfortable working with both corporate and site-based stakeholders
Immediately available and able to commit to a 6-month temporary role
Willing and able to travel to site on a monthly basis
