Role Title: Security Engineer

Length: 6 Months

Daily Rate: $600 - $700 +Super

Location: Sydney CBD/WFH Hybrid
5+ years' experience in Security Engineering, Cyber Security, Infrastructure Security or a related technical security role.
Robust hands-on experience across multiple security domains such as cloud security, EDR, SIEM, network security, email security, SASE or vulnerability management.
Hands on experience with the MS Security stack, CrowdStrike and Netskope.
Comfortable automating security processes using scripting, APIs and DevOps-style practices to improve efficiency and consistency.
Solid understanding of networking, identity, operating systems, cloud and SaaS security within hybrid environments.
Able to translate security, risk and compliance requirements into practical, scalable engineering outcomes.
Design, implement and optimise security controls across on-premises,



cloud and SaaS settings to improve security posture and reduce risk.
Own and continuously enhance security platforms, ensuring they remain effective, resilient and aligned to business needs.
Drive automation and integration initiatives using scripting, APIs and contemporary engineering practices to improve security operations and delivery.
Support secure infrastructure and application change by providing technical guidance, assurance and security engineering expertise.
Develop and tune monitoring, detection and response capabilities while supporting vulnerability remediation and secure configuration initiatives.
Collaborate with architecture, engineering and business teams to embed security best practices and deliver measurable security outcomes.
