Job Description
Lead detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for HV substation and utility projects.
Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to develop accurate pricing.
Manage supplier and subcontractor engagement to obtain competitive quotations.
Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering initiatives.
Maintain estimating databases, schedules of rates and benchmarking data.
Prepare project schedules, pre-contract documentation and cost reports.
Participate in tender briefings, bid reviews and commercial negotiations.
Review and sign off technical, commercial and financial aspects of major bids.





The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Estimator - Substations' should have:
Practical understanding of construction delivery requirements and cost drivers for substation projects.Proven experience as a Senior Estimator, Lead Estimator or Estimating Manager.
Strong background in substations, transmission, utilities or major infrastructure.
Advanced commercial, analytical and problem-solving capability.
Demonstrated ability to interpret complex drawings and tender documentation.
Experience using estimating software and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
Construction Management, Engineering or Trade qualifications highly regarded.
