Brand Art Director (Remote)

Full time | $90,000 to $100,000 per year | Remote (occasional travel to Illinois and the Midwest)

About the Role

A high-growth creative agency is hiring a Brand Art Director to be the senior creative owner of a leading national insurance and financial services brand. You'll set the visual direction for every asset, lead campaigns from concept through production, and guide designers, social creators, and freelancers. Your work needs to hold up in a regulated review process and still stop the scroll in a social feed.

What You'll Do

Own and protect the brand's visual standards across print, digital, social, video, and out-of-home

Lead integrated campaigns and present creative to senior client stakeholders

Design key visuals, ads, social assets, and collateral hands-on

Art direct photo and video shoots

Direct a team and manage high-volume production

Build AI-powered workflows and set responsible-use standards





Work with client compliance teams to build disclosures into creative from the start

What You Bring

8+ years in graphic design and art direction, including 3+ in a senior role (agency experience preferred)

Proven experience owning and evolving a brand system

A robust portfolio of integrated campaigns showing brand consistency at scale

Expert Adobe Creative Suite and Figma skills; working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro

Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (Firefly, Nano Banana, HeyGen, or similar)

Working knowledge of compliance review for regulated marketing

Bachelor's degree in a design field or equivalent experience

Preferred: Insurance, financial services, or other regulated industry experience; agent or field sales materials; Midwest or agricultural audiences.
