Westfields Sports High School is seeking an enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced AFL coach to join our Talented Sports Program (TSP) on a casual basis.

As one of Australia's leading specialist sports high schools, Westfields Sports High School provides student-athletes with opportunities to develop their sporting potential alongside their academic education.

About the Role

The successful applicant will provide coaching coverage when our Head AFL Coach is unavailable, ensuring continuity and consistency in the delivery of our AFL development program.

This position would suit an experienced coach with a passion for junior athlete development who is seeking versatile, casual coaching opportunities within a high-performance school sporting workplace.

Training Schedule:
Days: Monday and Thursday
Morning: 8:00am - 10:00am
Afternoon: 1:15pm - 3:15pm

Coaching prospects will be offered on an as-needed basis, subject to the availability of the Head Coach.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging,



structured AFL training sessions.
Develop student-athletes' technical skills, tactical awareness and game understanding.
Foster a positive setting that promotes discipline, teamwork, respect and personal development.
Maintain consistency with the program's coaching philosophy and development objectives.
Effectively manage and supervise groups of student-athletes.
Communicate and collaborate with the Head Coach and TSP staff.

Desirable Criteria
Drivers Licence
Current LR (Light Rigid) Driver's Licence
