Job Description
The chance
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable 1 st Year Apprentice Refrigeration Technician who is ready to make a positive impact within our business.
This role will be working along side our Refrigeration team on all aspects of preventative and break down refrigeration maintenance.
As a member of the Maintenance team your role will workvery closelywith the production departments on the facility.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Ability to act with urgency when machinery fault or breakdown occurs
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
Work in a methodical manner to ensure production runs smoothly using good observation and problem-solving methodologies
Strong drive and hardworking attitude, able to work unsupervised
Good oral and written communications skills
Strong commitment to safety
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a growing and interdependent team, working collaboratively with other departments
Some knowledge of WH&S; practices and legislation
What we're looking for
Passes in Year 10 Maths, Science and English
Suitability to perform the tasks
Sound computer skills including a working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel
