The Role
Reporting to the SeniorLibrary Officer – Customer Services , the purpose of this position is to the purpose of this role is toparticipate in the delivery of responsive, high quality, friendly and efficientlibrary services and programs and working collaboratively with colleagues in the Arts and CultureBranch to achieve goals.

You will be committed to providingquality customer service experience and demonstrate robust communication and organisational skills.




Essential Criteria – Library Assistant
Higher School Certificate
Excellent public manner and ability tocommunicate well with a wide range of people
Ability to determine customer needs andachieve quality outcomes
Ability to work with adults and children
Ability to carry out duties andresponsibilities of the position with minimum supervision on a da-to-day basis
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite andability to become skilled with unfamiliar software and technology in general
The right to live and work in Australia
Class C Drivers Licence
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Successful applicants will be required toundergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
